Marketing Operations Coordinator Needed in Camarillo (in-person)

Assignment Length: Through Dec 31st 2026

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5 hours daily (20 hours weekly)

Pay Rate: $27/hour

This position is less focused on creating marketing campaigns and more focused on the operational execution that keeps marketing and sales programs running smoothly, making it a strong fit for someone with logistics, inventory, fulfillment, operations, or project coordination experience.

Job Summary

The Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for the operational execution of the global marketing organization's physical assets, logistics, inventory, and fulfillment activities. This role ensures that sales teams, customers, distributors, and trade shows receive marketing materials, product samples, and promotional items accurately and on time. The position serves as the operational hub between marketing, sales, manufacturing, shipping, and external vendors, ensuring that global marketing programs are executed efficiently.

Essential Functions

* Marketing Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of all marketing collateral, promotional materials, literature, and branded merchandise; monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder materials before shortages occur; coordinate storage and organization of all marketing assets.

* Product Sample Fulfillment: Prepare and ship product samples to customers, distributors, and sales representatives; coordinate with manufacturing and warehouse teams to ensure product availability; maintain shipping records and tracking information.

* Promotional Merchandise Management: Manage ordering and inventory of branded promotional items; coordinate with approved vendors for giveaways and promotional products; ensure adequate inventory for sales meetings, customer visits, and trade shows.

* Trade Show Logistics: Package and ship booth materials, literature, samples, giveaways, and displays; coordinate outbound and return shipments for domestic and international events; verify all materials arrive on schedule and in excellent condition.

* Sales Team Support: Fulfill requests from the global sales organization for brochures, samples, marketing literature, and promotional materials; assemble sales kits and customer presentation materials; ensure timely delivery to support customer opportunities.

* Vendor Coordination: Work directly with print vendors, promotional suppliers, freight carriers, and shipping partners; track orders and resolve shipping or fulfillment issues; maintain relationships with external vendors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

* Office & Marketing Operations Support: Coordinate incoming and outgoing marketing shipments; support special initiatives for other functions requiring on-site execution; assist with maintaining marketing storage and organizational systems.

* Perform additional job duties as assigned.

Education / Certifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

Required Experience & Competencies

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Strong coordination and project execution abilities.

* Experience managing inventory and logistics preferred.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shipping platforms.
